History

Founded on December 28, 1992 in the city of Cravinhos, in the state of SP, Conimel began its activities with the production of parts aimed at the electric products line.

The first products developed by the brand were the Grounding Clamp and Pressure Terminals and later it began manufacturing electrical materials for the electrical power distribution sector for Low, Medium and High Voltage.  Soon after, innovating and using new productive technologies, it began to manufacture battery terminals for automobiles and trucks.  

Throughout the years, Conimel directed all its investments in machinery for the growth of the industry, continually expanding its line of products.  

In just 5 years, the company had its first expansion, broadening its structure and increasing its productive capacity to meet all its customers’ demands with excellence.  

In January 2004, Conimel achieved the ISO 9001/2000 Quality Certificate, proving its effort and seriousness.  

Currently it provides electrical materials to the entire Brazilian market, as well as exporting to countries in South America, North America, Central America, Asia and Europe.

The company now has a team of 270 employees and an average of 70 sales representatives throughout Brazil.

In 2008 Conimel revitalized its logo and its slogan, following the latest trends in the sector in which it is active, modernizing and projecting its brand in a confident and positive way.  

It successfully participated in its first Trade Fair in the electrical sector: the Enie, the National Electrical Installations Convention (Encontro Nacional de Instalações Elétricas), in the Center Norte facilities.

At Conimel, the future is already present. In April 2009 the construction of a new industrial plant begins, totally designed with 41,000 m² near the Anhanguera highway to develop even more solutions within a sector that is in constant evolution.
